Australia to Highlight Business Events Credentials at IMEX 2008
Australia’s new business events brand – Business Events Australia - will go on show to the world when IMEX gets underway from 22 to 24 April in Frankfurt.
Plans for a €1.6 billion (AUD$2.7 billion) investment in infrastructure across Australia over the next two years will also be unveiled at IMEX.
Tourism Australia will exhibit with 14 Australian partners on the Australia stand, where Australia will be promoted as a premier destination for incentive travel, meetings and events.
Tourism Australia Regional General Manager UK/Europe, Rodney Harrex, said the new brand positioning would help to send a clear message to decision makers worldwide about what we can deliver and why they should choose Australia for their next corporate meeting, incentive or association meeting.
“Australia is a place that can connect businesses and people in a way that inspires people to create and deliver great results, and this is the message that we will be taking to IMEX this year,” Mr Harrex said.
