HSBC Hong Kong recently rewarded their top achievers with a 5 day re-energising trip to Brisbane and Gold Coast. This incentive trip was action-packed as well as relaxing; it was well received by all participants returning home full of team spirit.

Attracted by the natural beauty and the variety of activities in Australia, HSBC Hong Kong has awarded their top achievers with a once in a life time experience to Brisbane and Gold Coast from 25-29 April 2007.

After an overnight flight to Brisbane, the group was swept away to Mt Coot-Tha Lookout where they had a relaxing lunch sampling the freshest local produce and seafood with a breathtaking panorama view of the city.

After the group checked in at the award-winning Couran Cove Island Resort, overlooking the tranquil Brisbane waterways, an exciting Island Challenge team building activity was carried out to spur the team spirit among the group before they headed to the Surf Club for a spectacular welcome dinner.

After a tour of cosmopolitan Surfer’s Paradise, the group settled at the beautiful beach-front Sheraton Mirage Hotel on the Gold Coast. At night, the team members were given the chance to experience outback Australia as a cowboy at the new RM Williams Australian Outback Spectacular evening show.

 A full day of fun started again the next day with a farm tour to Paradise Country where they cuddled Koalas, boxed with Kangaroos and demonstrated their skills at sheep shearing.  A surprise lunch at a private golf course – The Villa was organised exclusively for this group before boarding a ‘Catch a Crab’ cruise where they caught and tasted the fresh catch, this was the highlight of the afternoon. 

Site seeing and nature experiencing tours such as Glow Worm Cave and Natural Arch at night, shopping tours at discount outlets, Sea World to visit precious marine life were organised to ensure that everyone finished their holiday with special memories. 

Participants commented that the trip was relaxing, very fun and well organised. They returned home all rested and re-energised to strive for higher achievements next year!
