Tourism Australia partners with destination management companies for AIME 2009
Tourism Australia is making its return to AIME 2009 with an expanded floor presence at the event and the inclusion of three of Australia’s leading national destination marketing companies (DMCs) on its stand.
Tourism Australia Managing Director Geoff Buckley said AIME was an important event for reaching some of Australia’s key clients from across the world.
“The global business events sector is extremely competitive and AIME provides another platform to take our message to the world about what Australia has to offer as a destination for corporate meetings and incentives,” Mr Buckley said.
“This year we are delighted to have three of Australia’s leading national DMCs - ID Australia, ENCORE and Tour Hosts Pty Limited - joining us on the stand to promote the strengths of the destination.
