Canberra Activities

With an array of national institutions, museums and art galleries, and a wine region close to the city, Canberra has a multitude of activities to experience.

Start the day with a hot air balloon ride, landing on the lawns of Old Parliament House, followed by a private tour of the National Gallery of Australia, Parliament House or the Royal Australian Mint.

Other activities include sailing across Lake Burley Griffin, or meeting local wildlife and learning about Aboriginal culture at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve.

The Canberra District wine region boasts more than 30 boutique cellar doors, where you can taste fine wines and even try blending your own.
