Sunshine Coast Activities and Programs

Ninety minutes’ drive north of Brisbane, get beachside on the Sunshine Coast where the sun shines for more than 300 days a year.

Host dinners and barbecues on the beach, horse ride along the sand, swim with humpback whales and visit farms in the Noosa Hinterland for paddock-to-plate dining and exclusive culinary tours with local producers. Create your own surf village
Create your own exclusive surf village under a giant tipi on Noosa Beach. The tipi will be your hub for a full day including surfing lessons, stand-up paddle boarding and Noosa River jet boating for 30 to 120 guests. Wildlife encounters at Australia Zoo
Visit Australia Zoo, the 40-hectare (99 acre) wildlife park and conservation facility established by the late Steve Irwin, ‘the Crocodile Hunter’. Hand feed the kangaroos, get up close with koalas, and encounter other native animals such as wombats, possums and echidnas.

Create the ultimate souvenir
Take a Surfboard Graffiti Art class with Banana Life. Suitable for groups of 10 to 100, this hands-on session is led by local artists, who will help your team design, stencil and spray their own surfboard. When finished, the boards will be lacquered and freighted home to you.

The Glass House Mountains are listed on the Queensland and National heritage registers as a landscape of national importance due to the significance of the area to traditional owners - the Gubbi Gubbi people. Groups can take the 3 kilometres (1.8 miles) Mount Ngungun Summit walk for 360 degree views of this spiritual land.
