From beachfront pavilions and yacht clubs to entire islands
One of the region's newest venues is Hamilton Island’s Beach Pavilion, opened in December 2019. The beach-side venue, which can be fully enclosed or al fresco, can host a seated dinner for 280 people overlooking the Coral Sea.
If you are looking for a venue with a contemporary edge, the Hamilton Island Yacht Club is an excellent choice. The Yacht Club has a range of event spaces including an auditorium, deck, modern restaurant and bar overlooking the marina. The venue can cater up to 400 guests for a cocktail function.
Nearby, the renovated Daydream Island Resort offers six indoor and outdoor event spaces. The island, which is a short 30 minute boat ride from either Hamilton Island Marina or Port of Airlie, can cater for up to 400 guests seated or 600 for a cocktail function. The resort’s six restaurants and bars can be hired exclusively.
Hosting a cocktail-style event for up to 80 people? The Hamilton Island Golf Club is located on Dent Island - a short boat ride from Hamilton Island - and features views of the surrounding islands and the Coral Sea.
Alternatively, you can also host an unforgettable event on one of Ocean Dynamics’ cruises. Treat up to 80 guests to a sunset cruise around the Whitsunday islands with various package options available such as catering and transfers.

The Whitsundays’ largest conference venue
Hamilton Island’s Conference Centre is a multi-purpose venue suitable for a range of business events. Located near the island’s resort-side facilities, groups have easy access with a designated walkway.
As the largest event venue on Hamilton Island and the Whitsundays region, the venue features a pillarless auditorium, spacious foyer, four meeting rooms and a boardroom. The venue can cater for up to 700 guests seated in the auditorium and up to 40 seated guests in each individual breakout meeting room.
