Business Events Australia offers the Australian business events industry opportunities throughout the year to meet and do business with qualified international business events planners and decision-makers.
This includes creating a platform for industry to meet buyers at major trade shows such as IMEX as well as organising events exclusively for the Australian business events industry including the Business Events Australia Greater China Showcase and Dreamtime, our signature incentive showcase for international business events planners and media.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Business Events Australia is offering a series of virtual events to connect Australian industry with international customers.

Join us at the Business Events Australia South and South East Asia Showcase 2021, a virtual event that will provide Australian industry with a platform to meet and continue to foster customer relationships with event planners from the incentive and corporate meeting sectors in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India.
Please note seller places are limited and Australian industry will be invited to attend.

The Showcase was a three-day hybrid event, with Chinese buyers meeting face to face in China and engaging virtually with Australian sellers via one-on-one appointments.

IBTM World Virtual took place from 8 – 10 December 2020 and will incorporate one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and buyers, as well as a knowledge programme, with a range of targeted education sessions. Exhibitors and buyers benefitted from IBTM’s bespoke appointment system, matchmaking buyer’s business needs with supplier’s services to conduct efficient meetings.

In place of IMEX America, the new North American Showcase provided a virtual platform for convention bureaux and industry active in the market to connect informally with planners in the USA, through group meetings over five and a half hours across two days from 7am - 9am AEDT each day.

IMEX Frankfurt is a key business events exhibition where international planners from the conference, convention and corporate events industries gather to do business. IMEX gives the Australian business events industry the opportunity to meet influential international buyers responsible for organising corporate meetings, incentive travel programs and association events.

The Business Events Australia Greater China Showcase is Tourism Australia’s signature showcase event for the China business events market. The three-day program provides Australian industry with the opportunity to strengthen relationships with key international business events agents, corporate buyers and media, and helps them gain insights into the China market.

A new trade show for 2021, IBTM Asia Pacific 2021 will provide a gateway to the fast-growing Asia Pacific market for meetings, events and incentives.
Registration for IBTM Asia Pacific is currently being reviewed after the cancellation of the 2020 event.

IMEX America is the USA’s largest meetings industry trade show. It is a global exhibition event for incentive travel, meetings and events that attracts thousands of professionals from the USA and internationally.
