IBTM World - the live show will take place from 19 to 21 November 2024 and will incorporate one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and buyers, as well as a knowledge program, with a range of targeted education sessions.

Timing: 13-19 March 2025

The Business Events Australia North America Roadshow will visit four cities in North America to promote Australia’s offering to the corporate/incentive and association business planners community in each destination. 

The Roadshow aligns with the Smart Meetings University (SMU) trade event in New York, which runs from 10-12 March 2025.

Timing: 31 March-2 April 2025

The Business Events Australia Greater China Showcase will return to China for the first time since 2019. During the Showcase, Chinese buyers (incentive agents and corporate customers) will meet face to face and engage with Australian sellers via one-on-one appointments.

There will also be a seminar for Convention Bureaux representatives only to follow in Singapore on 4 April 2025.

IMEX America is the USA’s largest meetings industry trade show. It is a global exhibition event for incentive travel, meetings and events that attracts thousands of professionals from the USA and internationally. With more than 3,000 hosted buyers attending, IMEX America provides opportunities for business, networking and education.

2026 dates are 12-15 October 2026.

Tourism Australia’s signature incentive showcase, Australia Next, will be held for a third consecutive year with the event to return to Melbourne/Narrm in 2025 as Australia strengthens its pipeline of future international business events.

The incentive showcase is designed to increase awareness of Australia as an outstanding incentive destination. The event provides the Australian business events industry the opportunity to connect with qualified incentive buyers from around the world, while showcasing Australia’s best incentive experiences and products.

Australia Next 2025 will be held in Melbourne/Narrm, Victoria, in partnership with Melbourne Convention Bureau.
