Where: Salt Lake City, San Francisco, USA and Toronto, Canada
Timing: 12 to 19 March 2026

The Business Events Australia North America Roadshow will visit three cities in North America to promote Australia’s offering to the corporate/incentive and association sector planners in each destination. The roadshow will be held in 2026, and ongoing as a bi-annual event.

The Roadshow will align with the Smart Meetings University (SMU) International trade event in New York, which runs from 9-11 March 2026.

Timing: 14 to 15 April 2026

The Meetings Show Asia Pacific, organised by Northstar Travel Group, is the premier trade show gathering event organisers and suppliers to connect, contract and forge new partnerships within the global business events industry.

Discover leading destinations, venues, hotels and other key business events suppliers, complemented by an exclusive hosted buyer programme, bringing senior meetings, conventions, events and incentives buyers to a bustling trade show floor. 

Business Events Australia is not attending in 2026.

The Business Events Australia South East Asia Roadshow will visit cities in South East Asia to promote Australia’s offering to the corporate/incentive sector planners in each destination. 

The event is for Australian Convention Bureaux representatives only.

Where: Frankfurt, Germany
Timing: 19 to 21 May 2026

IMEX Frankfurt is a key business events exhibition where international planners from the conference, convention and corporate events industries gather to do business. IMEX gives the Australian business events industry the opportunity to meet influential international buyers responsible for organising corporate meetings, incentive travel programs and association events.

Timing: TBC, between 7 to 18 September 2026

The Business Events Australia Greater China Showcase was delivered in China in 2025, and will be held in late 2026 and ongoing as a bi-annual event. During the Showcase, Chinese buyers (incentive agents and corporate customers) met face to face and engaged with Australian sellers via one-on-one appointments and networking opportunities.

Business Events Australia Greater China Showcase 2025 Results

Where: Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, USA
Timing: 12 to 15 October 2026.

IMEX America is the USA’s largest meetings industry trade show. It is a global exhibition event for incentive travel, meetings and events that attracts thousands of professionals from the USA and internationally. With more than 3,000 hosted buyers attending, IMEX America provides opportunities for business, networking and education.

IMEX America 2024 Results

Where: Barcelona, Spain
Timing: 17 to 19 November 2026

IBTM World - the live show will take place from 17 to 19 November 2026 and will incorporate one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and buyers, as well as a knowledge program, with a range of targeted education sessions.

Where: Melbourne/Narrm, Victoria
Timing: 1 to 3 December 2025

Tourism Australia’s signature incentive showcase, Australia Next, was held for a third consecutive year with the event to return to Melbourne/Narrm in 2025 as Australia strengthens its pipeline of future international business events.

The incentive showcase is designed to increase awareness of Australia as an outstanding incentive destination. The event provides the Australian business events industry the opportunity to connect with qualified incentive buyers from around the world, while showcasing Australia’s best incentive experiences and products.

Australia Next 2025 was held in Melbourne/Narrm, Victoria, in partnership with Melbourne Convention Bureau.
