Gold Coast activities and programs
With extraordinary wildlife encounters, a World Heritage–listed rainforest and championship golf courses, the Gold Coast offers an abundance of activities.
The Gold Coast's star attraction is its beaches, including the famous stretch of sand at Surfers Paradise where groups can learn to surf. Beyond the beaches, business event groups can discover the nearby World Heritage–listed rainforest, tee up at its many championship golf courses or visit wildlife sanctuaries.

It’s called Surfers Paradise for a reason – learn to ride the famous waves with Gold Coast Surf Academy. Then retire to the Surf Club’s upstairs Bistro for a relaxing lunch overlooking the crashing waves.
Gold Coast’s Topgolf is not the standard 18 holes, this new high-tech golfing hotspot offers options to please beginners and pros. For those looking for a traditional golfing experience, visit one of the nearby championship courses like Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club - Australia’s only course designed by late golfing legend Arnold Palmer.
Treat groups to breakfast with the dolphins at SeaWorld’s Dolphin Lagoon, before getting even more up-close to the dolphins in the shallows of the lagoon.
Located towards the southern end of the Gold Coast, spend a day with iconic Australian animals at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Here, groups can also take the TreeTop Challenge which includes Australia’s highest and fastest zipline experience.
Did you know?
The Gold Coast averages 300 days of sunshine each year and has 70 kilometres (44 miles) of beaches, including world class surf breaks.
