From the centre of bustling Sydney, leave our world behind and stare deep into the night sky to see thousands of celestial objects. The team behind Blue Mountains Stargazing have brought a revolutionary new eyepiece to town — the only one in Sydney — which allows you to bypass the city lights and land deep in the galaxy, viewing vivid star clusters and planets with incredible colour and clarity. Head outdoors to meet your knowledgeable astronomer on the grassy fields of Centennial Park, or book a special session from the comfort of your hotel rooftop. Each experience can host up to 50 guests.

Tangalooma Dunes Cabana Club

A team day, lounging beachside with sublime food and drink, snorkelling, sandboarding and dolphin encounters is only a short boat ride from Brisbane. Tangalooma Island Resort has just launched Dunes Cabana Club, featuring 20 private cabanas, just steps from the sand and the pretty pristine bay. Each cabana seats up to eight guests, boasts its own fridge, shade and cooling fan. Come sundown, fairy lights glow between the cabanas, making the club as suited to twilight cocktails as it is to a day spent barefoot in the sand. The wider precinct is available for exclusive hire and holds up to 160 guests.

A day spent island hopping the Whitsundays on the 82-foot Sunseeker superyacht is the ultimate picture of glamour at sea — turquoise water, uncrowded anchorages and a boat built for lounging. Alani Experience offers full day charters for up to 35 guests, departing from your choice of Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island or Hayman Island. Activities can include paddleboarding, snorkelling, inflatables and a water slide. On board, guests will be well looked after by the captain, chief stewardess and deckhand, and full food and beverage packages, a private chef and permits for Whitehaven Beach can all be provided.
