Renowned Australian chef, Neil Perry has opened Song Bird restaurant, located in harbourside Double Bay, east of the city centre. The three-storey, 230-seat restaurant hails to predominantly Cantonese cuisine with a modern Australian flair. Curated from the finest seasonal produce and ingredients, the 70-dish menu is designed for sharing and complemented by a 250-bottle wine list. Expect to see Peking Duck with Hoisin sauce, and Mandarin pancakes, Coral Trout with ginger and shallot and freshly prepared live mudcrabs in a choice of condiments and sauces. The Ground floor offers capacity for up to 30 guests seated or 65 guests standing for cocktails and canapés or level two “The Birdcage” for up to 100 guests seated. Book exclusive use of the whole restaurant for up to 240 guests seated.
Located in Perth’s premier dining precinct at Elizabeth Quay, your guests will savour an elevated steakhouse dining experience at 6HEAD. Situated on the ground floor of the Chevron Tower, every detail has been planned by the experienced team to create a memorable dining experience. Parquetry floors divide the restaurant’s plush banquette seating and wood-grained tables, while drapes fringe the open kitchen. The waterfront setting also offers outdoor seating and wheelchair accessibility. Unapologetically, 70 per cent of the menu features various premium cuts of steak from grass fed to grain fed, while a raw bar showcasing local seafood is also a feature, think local blue marron, Mandurah blue swimmer crab, and rainbow trout. The extensive wine list features local wines from the Margaret River region and Denmark. This high-end restaurant seats 180 guests for exclusive use.
Drawing culinary inspiration from Asia, Supernormal is located in the centre of Brisbane city, with views over the river and Story Bridge. The carved wooden bar, the green terrazzo floor, and palms dotted throughout reflect the city’s tropical lifestyle and natural beauty. Floor-to-ceiling windows and mirrors give all guests views of the Story Bridge. On the menu, pan-Asian fusion evokes influences from Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul and Hong Kong in an array of dishes that showcase local produce, including seafood from the raw bar and a dessert menu that calls on tropical flavours. For exclusive events, the Bridge Room offers an elegant, light-filled private dining space hosting up to 50 guests seated or 70 standing for a cocktail event, opening to a private terrace.
