The ever-popular Pialligo Estate in Canberra has re-opened after a refurbishment under new owners. Just 10-minutes drive from the city centre, the estate is set amongst picturesque vineyards and olive groves, by the Molonglo River. The Pavilion Restaurant, with floor to ceiling windows, tall timber beams and chandeliers, and The Glasshouse with its own lawn can host up to 420 people in a cocktail setting or 350 for a sit-down banquet. Smaller groups can be hosted in the standalone pavilions such as Pialligo Fields. The highly accoladed Create Catering procure local and regional produce to curate your paddock-to-plate menu complemented with wines from Canberra’s cool climate wineries. Set on 13 hectares (32 acres) the wide expanse of manicured lawns and gardens between the Pavilions and the river-side olive groves create a wide outdoor space for outdoor events.
Host an event at Cairns’ newest venue, The Mill. Located a 10-minute drive from the city centre, this repurposed timber mill with original features offers the perfect space for a gala event. The expansive corrugated iron shed has capacity for 800 guests for a sit down dinner or 1,500 guests standing for a cocktail function. The addition of a marquee raises the capacity to 2,000 guests. A blank canvas, bring in event designers to create your desired theme, from elegant seated dinner to a colourful cocktail spectacular. Work with renowned local chefs and caterers to create your banquet menu, and consider a local distillery for an event tasting of hand-crafted gin and spirits featuring Australian botanicals. The International has it all. Located in Martin Place in the centre of the city, this new venue brings together restaurants, a wine bar and a rooftop bar to create Sydney’s newest social and dining destination. Here, the goal is delicious food, handcrafted beverages and quality wines delivered by best-in-class chefs and service. The Grill offers a relaxed, fine dining setting for 60 guests seated or 120 for a cocktail event. The menu focuses on quality produce, seasonality and simplicity cooked over fire. Comprising three areas, The Wine Bar welcomes guests with a 60-seat piazza style courtyard with its own bar and capacity for 120 guests standing; and an intimate 40-seat wine bar with views over Martin place. The intimate Seidler Room is a 60-seat circular dining room also perfect for 80 guests standing. Up on the rooftop, The Panorama offers sparkling views and capacity for large groups of up to 200 standing. Exclusive bookings are available for each of the venues, or book the whole venue for up to 600 guests.
