Day 1: Perth / Boorloo
Start your day in Perth as the locals do, on the water. A short drive from the city, head to Brighton Beach in Scarborough to meet the team from Go Surf. Don a wetsuit, choose a board and head onto the pristine sand to learn techniques before you paddle into the Indian Ocean to try your hand at surfing. After an hour in the water head for a warm shower followed breakfast at the Scarborough Beach Bar. Take the short drive to Oz Harvest for a team building cooking experience “Cooking for a Cause”. Learn about zero-waste cooking while working together to prepare meals for those in need. Lunch on your creations, while drivers deliver your meals to Perth charities. Head to Kings Park, one of the world’s largest inner-city parks where you will be immersed in culture on a 90-minute walking tour with Indigenous guide Steve Jacobs from In Culture Tours. From here, check in to your accommodation at The Ritz Carlton on Elizabeth Quay and refresh before dining on Cantonese cuisine at Lantern on the Quay.
Day 2: Rottnest Island
Located just 19 km (10 mi) off the coast of Perth, arrive at Rottnest Island after a birds eye view from your helicopter transfer with Corsaire Aviation. At the Rottnest Island Visitor Centre, start a fun two-hour scavenger hunt with The Hike Collective. Assisted by skilled facilitators, witness the island’s unique wildlife (think friendly Quokkas!), stunning beaches, and historic landmarks. Then join Rottnest Cruises on their three-deck, 69 ft (21 m) pleasure cruiser where guests can try their hand at hauling up a craypot from the sea. Savour a succulent seven-course menu showcasing freshly caught Western rock lobster and Western Australia seafood delicacies. Day 3: Perth / Boorloo and Swan Valley
After an early breakfast, return by helicopter to Perth to take an adventure on Perth’s Matagarup Bridge Climb + Zip experience over the Swan River. Climb 315 steps to witness views above the river in the enclosed glass-bottomed Skyview Deck, then soar along the long cable over the water at a thrilling 75 kph (46 mph). Join the rest of your group on the riverbank for a celebratory beverage. Then, drive 30-minutes to the Mandoon Estate in the Swan Valley. Start your visit with a private tour of the Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery gallery hosted by Wardandi Bibbulmun woman Dale Tilbrook. Dale will share her signature bush tucker experience, showcasing her deep knowledge of Australian native edibles, Indigenous farming methods and the history of the Noongar people. Walk to Wild Swan, the estate’s fine dining restaurant to enjoy a modern Australian lunch curated from the finest local and seasonal produce matched with award-winning wines and craft beers. Return to your accommodation and refresh ready for your gala event. Arriving at the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA), ascend in the gold encased glass elevator and walk over the skybridge to arrive at AGWA Rooftop where the city skyline serves as your backdrop to celebrate your Perth and Rottnest Island experiences.
