Located in a restored heritage building at the ‘top end’ of Bourke Street in Melbourne’s city centre, Maison Bâtard offers the fine dining Restaurant Bâtard on the ground and first floors with capacity for 86 and 89 guests seated for dinner. In the kitchen, chef Adam Sanderson (Noma and The Fat Duck) delivers a menu that showcases local seafood and classics cooked over charcoal. An elegant aesthetic with gold accents and tablelamps set the scene, while an oyster and caviar station and open kitchen create theatre. Above the restaurant, La Terasse offers a partial outdoor pillared terrace with capacity for 120 seated plus a lounge space. On the subterranean fourth floor, the supper club “Le Club” with capacity for 90 guests is wrapped in velvet banquettes and offers live jazz and a shared supper menu.
