The newly opened The Lands by Capella offers a refined setting for events from formal gala dinners to elegant cocktail receptions. This impressive venue is found within the historic Department of Lands building in the heart of Sydney’s city centre, adjacent to the Capella Sydney Hotel. Discover five sophisticated light-filled event spaces that showcase the venue's historic grandeur with soaring ceilings and adaptable layouts to suit a range of occasions. The Capella Ballroom, the largest space at 536 sqm (5,770 sq. ft), offers guests a view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and accommodates up to 400 guests for a cocktail event. The Liberty Ballroom at 353 sqm (3,799 sq. ft) can host up to 250 guests. Three smaller venues — The Botanist, The Surveyors and The Explorers — range in size from 79 to 156 sqm (850 to 1,679 sq. ft) ideal for smaller groups. Tailor your event with the dedicated in-house team with bespoke menus showcasing native and local produce.

Expanding into one of Australia’s premier wine regions, Sydney hospitality and events company Doltone House has purchased the Wandin Valley Estate, in the Hunter Valley, two-hours drive from Sydney. Located in Lovedale, the 120-acre property includes indoor and outdoor event spaces set amongst vines and gardens. The Cricketers Pavilion has capacity for 120 guests for a gala dinner, and plenty of outdoor space on the adjacent cricket ground for pre-event cocktails. The estate has capacity for up 2,000 guests for large events. Looking ahead, Doltone House has plans to sensitively refresh and enhance the existing estate, with a strong focus on sustainability, conservation and guest experience. Future initiatives include the introduction of dedicated wildlife habitats and bird aviaries, reinforcing the estate’s connection to the natural environment, alongside continued enhancements to amenities, accommodation and leisure facilities across the property. With its scale, versatility and picturesque Hunter Valley setting, Wandin Valley Estate is set to evolve into a leading destination for events.

Located in Melbourne’s city centre, Marvel Stadium has undergone a A$225 million redevelopment, elevating the venue into a premium destination for events. With more than 20 function spaces, the stadium can host a wide variety of occasions, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. The Skyline Room features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that frame sweeping city views, offering guests a five-star dining experience with an exclusive menu highlighting the best of local produce. Positioned on the stadium's rooftop, the Horizon Room also boasts stunning panoramic views and is ideal for gala dinners or cocktail events of up to 350 guests. For larger occasions, the Victory Room stands as the stadium’s largest and most adaptable space, showcasing spectacular views of Victoria Harbour and accommodating up to 1,200 guests for a banquet or 2,000 for a cocktail-style event.
