The Tasman, a 152-room Luxury Collection Hotel in Hobart, has announced the opening of LUMINA; a waterside architectural landmark for luxury events. Located on Hobart’s Parliament Square and overlooking the city’s historic waterfront, this pillar-less venue offers a refined, versatile event space. In keeping with The Tasman’s commitment to excellence in sustainability, the structure and the interiors showcase the natural warmth of locally-grown Tasmanian Oak. With pre and primary function areas, and the professional service for which the hotel is known, host up to 220 guests standing for a cocktail reception or up to 200 guests seated. The venue seamlessly complements the hotel’s elegant design, spanning three eras: Georgian, Art Deco, and Contemporary. The Tasman is accepting enquiries for events at LUMINA from July 2026 onwards. Design an unforgettable event at Glo House, located in the lush city Botanic Gardens, in Brisbane. Queensland's first all-glass pavilion, this state-of-the-art fully enclosed space is designed to bring in natural light by day and create a luxe event space under the stars by night, with an adjoining outdoor space to enjoy the city's warm climate. With capacity for up to 450 guests standing and 300 seated, year-round climate control and built-in AV and sound, Glo House is purpose-built with high-spec finishes for your Brisbane event. A moveable venue, Glo House is set to be a roaming fixture in Brisbane's event scene. Located in the city's Botanic Gardens until November 2026, after which it will return to this iconic parkland from July through December 2027. The Glo team will work with you to create the event you envision.

The Anzac Atrium is a striking new function space at the Australian War Memorial (AWM) in Canberra that houses significant items from the Memorial’s collection. In the evening, the Atrium transforms into a unique venue. Above, an expansive glazed ceiling enhances the venue’s acoustic properties and creates a memorable atmosphere with its sunset hues. Wondabyne sandstone walls echo the AWM’s heritage architecture, while floor-to-ceiling windows add a sense of grandeur. A bronze-clad aero bridge offers views across the Atrium and toward the dome of the Hall of Memory where the Unknown Australian Soldier rests. Create a truly immersive dining experience surrounded by stories that have shaped Australia, providing a compelling backdrop for connection at one of the nation’s most significant cultural institutions. This state-of-the-art space is designed to accommodate up to 700 guests for a cocktail event or for up to 400 seated for dinner.
